To mark the anniversary, members of the community will gather around the memorial stone in the cemetery’s Ukrainian section and light a candle in memory of the victims, before a wreath is laid.
They will be joined by Bolton MPs Chris Green and David Crausby, councillors, and delegates from the Ukrainian Embassy.
It is estimated that between seven to ten million people perished during the Holodomor, and next weekend’s event comes amid a push to get the UK government to formally recognise it as an act of genocide by the Soviet regime of Joseph Stalin,
In 2009, Bolton Council became only the fourth council in the country to recognise it as one.
The event is expected to begin at midday, and everyone is invited to go along and pay their respects.
